T-Post Topper Insulator

These accommodate regular wire, cloth wire and most importantly, Gallagher's Equifence wire. When I attached the first one I thought I'd made a big mistake, because it slid down about a half inch onto the T-post and wouldn't go any farther. Examination revealed some internal tabs that were preventing the cap from sliding all the way down onto the post. I quickly discovered this is intentional. Set the cap onto the post, then use a mallet to pound it the rest of the way down. The inside tabs grip the post like no others, and these stay in place! Other types I've used don't have the wide jaw slot needed for the Equifence wire, and even though they're fairly snug, they don't have enough hold to stay in place when subjected to any number of external stresses. These stay in place, accept any kind of wire you want to use, and are typical of Gallagher electric fence quality and design. This is now the only kind I'll use.
