What size battery do I get for my B100/B200/B300?

- A Group 24 12V deep cycle marine battery. Group 24 – This indicates the physical dimensions of the battery. All group 24 batteries will be the same. The size is 11.13” x 6.60” x 9.06” (LxWxH) and this will fit in the bottom casing of the energizer.
- Deep cycle batteries can be discharged to a low level and be charged back up several times over. This is important at night time or cloudy days when the energizer is working strictly off the battery and won’t recharge until the sun comes out. They are measured by an amp hour (Ah) rating. For a B100, you would need 25 Ah or greater. For a B200, you would need 50 Ah or greater. For a B300, you would need 75 Ah or greater.
- Automotive batteries are designed to stay charged and deliver quick bursts of energy. Their lifespan is really shortened once you start discharging them and recharging them like you would on a solar energizer. Automotive batteries are measured by cold cranking amps (CCA). Do not get an automotive battery.
